Elaine Spector

Elaine Spector is a seasoned intellectual property attorney with extensive experience in patent prosecution and management. Currently serving as a Partner at Harrity & Harrity, LLP since May 2017, Elaine specializes in electrical, electro-mechanical, and software patent applications. Prior to this, Elaine worked at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures as a Senior Intellectual Property Manager, overseeing the prosecution of over 500 technologies and advising on intellectual property matters. Elaine has also held roles at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP as a Senior Attorney, where complex patent litigation was a focus, and at Burns Doane Swecker & Mathis LLP as an Associate IP Attorney. Elaine began a legal career as an Associate IP Attorney at Meyers, Liniak & Berenato and holds a JD in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Baltimore School of Law, as well as a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
