Kevin Delgado

Kevin Delgado is a dedicated professional currently involved in multiple roles, including Member at Illinois Enactus and Project Assistant at CreAlgae, both since February 2023. As a Peer Mentor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since October 2022, Kevin guides students in the TRIO Student Support Services program and organizes collaborative events. Experience as a Research Assistant in the Chen Lab focuses on sugar allocation research aimed at improving crop yield. Kevin has held positions as a Host at Harry Caray's Restaurant Group since May 2022 and has participated in various organizations including Beta Psi Omega and the Open Society University Network. Notable externship experiences include roles at AbbVie and Sanofi, where Kevin worked on HPLC improvements and protein purification. Kevin is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology and a minor in Sustainability at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, set to graduate in May 2025.
