Miguel Rivera, MEM, PE, M.ASCE has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Miguel started their career as an Assistant Project Engineer at Caribe Tecno, SE in 2003. In 2014, they joined Skanska USA as a Project Engineer before transitioning to MARNIT, INC. in 2000. At MARNIT, INC., Miguel held various roles including Project Manager and eventually became the President. In 2015, they joined Harry Pepper & Associates, Inc. as an Assistant Project Manager and worked their way up to Vice President of Construction. Miguel's roles at Harry Pepper & Associates, Inc. include Director of Construction and Senior Project Manager. Overall, Miguel's work experience showcases their expertise in construction management, project engineering, and leadership.

Miguel Rivera holds a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico- San Juan Campus, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez from 2000 to 2005. Furthermore, Miguel completed their high school education at Colegio Nuestra Señora de La Merced from 1990 to 2000, earning a Regular/General High School/Secondary Diploma Program.

In addition to their educational background, Miguel has obtained several certifications. Miguel acquired a General Contractor certification from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in March 2021 and again in April 2021. Miguel also holds certifications in Advance MOT Training from the United Latino Students Association (April 2019), Certified Stormwater Inspector Construction from the National Stormwater Center (October 2017), and Qualified Stormwater Management Inspector from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (October 2017). Moreover, Miguel is a Notary Public in the State of Florida since January 2016. It is worth noting that Miguel is also listed as having a "Florida Board of Professional Engineers" certification; however, the month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
