Douglas Hwang

Douglas Hwang is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital commerce and product management. Currently serving as VP and Global Head of Digital Commerce at Harry's Inc. since January 2023, Douglas focuses on creating appealing customer experiences. Prior to this role, Douglas held multiple leadership positions at Amazon from January 2011 to January 2022, including key responsibilities in Prime Video Sports and direct-to-consumer initiatives. Douglas has significant experience in the manga industry, having led product and UX design teams at Manga Books, where innovative strategies were implemented to drive growth. Additional experience includes teaching product management at General Assembly and contributing to growth initiatives at Etsy during its pre- to post-IPO phase. Douglas Hwang holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.
