Jean-Didier Allongue

Jean-Didier Allongue has a diverse work experience in various industries. Jean-Didier currently holds the position of Sr. Director of Store Design at Harry's, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at EWI Worldwide as the Vice President Creative, where they led design teams in providing innovative retail design solutions and was responsible for developing the design and engineering teams. Before that, they served as the Creative Director at Process Retail Group, Inc., where they developed consumer POP solutions and managed design collaboration and resource allocation. Jean-Didier also worked as a Sr. Industrial Designer at DCI marketing, where they were responsible for designing and managing retail point-of-purchase solutions. Jean-Didier started their career as an Art Director at Ideas That Deliver / FH&K Marketing, where they developed brand identity and assets for various accounts. Jean-Didier also has experience in visual communications and event organization, having worked as a Communication Coordinator at the French Cultural Institute in Haiti. Additionally, they completed an industrial design internship at the French Navy, where they designed a classified product for use at sea. Overall, Jean-Didier Allongue has extensive experience in design, leadership, and retail innovation.

Jean-Didier Allongue completed their education at ENSCI-Les Ateliers from 1988 to 1993, where they earned a Masters (Diplome) in Industrial and Product Design. In 1992, they also participated in a Foreign Exchange Program at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, focusing on Industrial and Product Design. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in the field of Workplace Discrimination and Harassment Prevention. In October 2020, they received the certification for "Eliminating Discrimination & Harassment in the Workplace (NY)" from Trüpp. In March 2022, Jean-Didier obtained the same certification from "Eliminating Discrimination & Harassment in the Workplace (NY)". Furthermore, in May 2023, they completed the certifications for "Eliminating Discrimination & Harassment in the Workplace (NY)" and "Supervising to Prevent Discrimination & Harassment" from Trüpp U.
