Merrie Moorhead

Merrie Moorhead, RN, BSN, CCRA has extensive work experience in the field of clinical research and operations. Merrie began their career as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Midatlantic Cardiovascular Associates in 2001 and worked in this role until 2009. Merrie then joined Abbott as a Field Clinical Research Associate II, a position they held from 2009 to 2013. Merrie was later promoted to Field Senior Clinical Research Associate, a role they held from 2013 to 2015. During the same period, they also worked as a Principal CRA at Abbott Vascular. In 2015, they transitioned to Novella Clinical where they served as a Clinical Trial Manager from 2015 to 2018, and then as a Senior Clinical Manager from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they are employed at Hart Clinical Consultants, where they have held positions as Manager Clinical Research Operations, Director of Clinical Operations, and Senior Director of Clinical Operations.

Merrie Moorhead, RN, BSN, CCRA, completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Villanova University. In November 2011, they obtained the certification of Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
