Gordon Hughes

Gordon Hughes has extensive experience in security and training, currently serving as the Head of Support Services at Hart Security since March 2015, where responsibilities include developing training syllabi tailored for the Middle East, Africa, and Afghanistan, as well as maintaining high training standards. Previously, Gordon worked as a Close Protection Officer for AEGIS, a self-employed security specialist/trainer focusing on Close Protection for high-net-worth clients, and held various senior positions in the British Army, including roles in the Special Projects Close Protection Unit and as Regimental Sergeant Major. Gordon's military career, which spanned several decades, included critical responsibilities in managing security teams and operations in high-threat environments, as well as providing close protection for government officials. Educational background includes studies at the Defence School of Languages in Beaconsfield.
