Jeff Finkelstein, MD, FACEP, serves as the Vice President of Medical Affairs for the Central Region at Hartford HealthCare, a position held since December 2017. Previously, Jeff was the Medical Director at GoHealth Urgent Care and the Hartford HealthCare Medical Group, focusing on improving urgent care services. In earlier roles, Jeff was the Chief of Emergency Medicine at Hartford Hospital and The Hospital of Central Connecticut, leading large, high-volume emergency departments. Additional experience includes work as a Physician Informatics leader at MedCPU and in various emergency medicine roles with the USAF and John Peter Smith Hospital. Jeff holds an MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a BS in Bio-Engineering from Syracuse University.
