Krishna Soujanya Gunturu currently serves as the Associate Chief of Clinical Trials and Correlative Science Research at Hartford HealthCare’s Cancer Institute since October 2023. With extensive experience in cancer research, Gunturu has been actively involved with SWOG since February 2017, participating in multiple committees and working groups focused on thoracic cancers, digital media engagement, and survivorship. Prior to the current role, Gunturu held various leadership positions at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, including Research Director and Director of the Immunotherapy Toxicity Program, and served as Clinic Director at the Lahey Health Cancer Institute. Gunturu's academic background includes roles as an Associate and Assistant Professor at Tufts Medical Center and fellowship training at Yale New Haven Hospital. Education credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and specialized training in Oncology from Yale School of Medicine.
