Marie Jarry is a seasoned library professional with extensive experience in public service operations, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Hartford Public Library since February 2016. Jarry has held various leadership roles, including Director of Public Services and Director of Youth and Family Services, where responsibilities encompassed programming, outreach, and grant acquisition for innovative educational initiatives. Prior to Hartford, Jarry managed children and teen services at New Haven Free Public Library and contributed to archival projects at various institutions. Jarry possesses a Master's degree in Library Science from Southern Connecticut State University and a Bachelor's degree in History/Elementary Education from Central Connecticut State University.
