Rich McCarty is a seasoned professional in non-profit management with extensive experience in capital campaigns, major gifts, and board management. Currently serving in capital campaigns at the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, Rich previously held significant leadership roles such as Vice President for Healthy Living & Social Responsibility at Middlesex YMCA and various vice president and executive director positions at Goodwin University where contributions included advancements in university initiatives. Rich's earlier career includes serving as CEO at both New Rochelle YMCA and New Britain-Berlin YMCA, alongside a strong foundation in major gifts at Fairfield University and quality management at Aetna. An educator as well, Rich has shared expertise in non-profit management as an adjunct professor at Bay Path College. Rich holds an MBA in Information Technology & Operations Management and a BS in Marketing, both from Fairfield University.
