Mikkel Johansen Vraa

Mikkel Johansen Vraa is currently serving as a Senior Innovation Scientist at HARTING, focusing on research and product innovation in robotics at the MMMI Institute at SDU in Odense. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Design and Development Engineer at Universal Robots A/S, where Mikkel led mechanical design projects and contributed to lean startup explorations and new product development for the E-series robot. Mikkel also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Flindt-Kristensen, contributing to wind-offshore projects, and as a Project Assistant at Teknologisk Institut, developing mechanical test setups. Early career roles included serving as a Surf Lifeguard at TrygFonden and various positions during studies, culminating in the acquisition of a Master of Engineering in Engineering Design and Applied Mechanics and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from DTU.
