Vivek D.

Vivek D. is an accomplished leader in technology development and innovation, currently serving as Head of Innovation Hub and Director of Technology Development at HARTING since February 2016. With a strong background in materials engineering, Vivek has held various roles, including Visiting Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where contributions included collaboration on next-generation sensing devices and edge computing platforms. As a co-founder of multiple technology-focused companies, including Kinalco, Inc. and Sigma Labs, Vivek has been instrumental in commercializing advanced manufacturing technologies and securing intellectual property. Prior experience includes significant positions at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Pratt & Whitney, where Vivek developed expertise in real-time data applications and problem-solving in manufacturing processes. Vivek holds a PhD and MS in Materials Engineering from MIT and a BS in Engineering and Applied Science from Caltech.
