Craig Blundred has extensive experience in the field of public health. Craig began their career in 2007 as a Specialty Registrar in Public Health at Gateshead PCT. Craig then worked at various organizations such as the Health Protection Agency, NHS South of Tyne and Wear, NHS North of Tyne, and the North East Quality Observatory in similar roles. In 2011, Craig joined Newcastle University as a Specialty Registrar in Public Health before moving to the Health Protection Agency in 2012. Lastly, in 2007 to 2008, Craig obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Health Sciences from Newcastle University. Although it is known that they have a certification as a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health from the UK Faculty of Public Health, the specific date of acquisition is not provided.
