Nicolas Leprovost

Nicolas Leprovost is a seasoned quantitative research professional currently serving as the Head of Quantitative Research at Hartree Partners since June 2023. Previously, Nicolas held the position of Quantitative Analyst at Engelhart Commodities Trading Partners from July 2021 to June 2023. Before that, Nicolas spent over a decade at BP, where roles included Quantitative Analytics Team Lead for Europe and Senior Quantitative Analyst. Early in Nicolas's career, experience as a Research Associate was gained at the University of Sheffield from October 2005 to August 2010. Nicolas holds a PhD in Physics from Pierre and Marie Curie University and a Master's degree in Physics from Ecole normale supérieure.
