Silvia Ortega Núñez

Silvia Ortega Núñez is a highly experienced professional in the finance and commodities sectors, currently serving as the Hartree Metals Head of Hedge Desk at Hartree Partners since July 2020. Previously, Silvia held various positions at Trafigura from 2008 to 2019, including Global Risk and Market Analyst in the Middle Office, where responsibilities encompassed the production and reporting of global mark-to-market for lead and zinc concentrates, as well as profit and loss monitoring. Earlier experience at Trafigura included a role as Deals Desk and Trading Controlling Analyst, contributing to reporting, control, and forecasting of lead and zinc profits, in addition to serving as a Concentrates Traffic Operator. Silvia's career commenced at PwC, where positions included Financial Audit Senior Associate and Financial Audit Associate.
