Matias Mero has extensive experience in marketing and sales within the beverage sector, currently serving as the Head of Category Marketing at Hartwall since July 2011. In this role, Matias leads a team of brand managers, holds full P&L responsibility for energy drinks and various soft drinks and snacks, and drives category strategies alongside product development and brand-building activities. Previous positions include Brand Manager for PepsiCo Brands and Specialty Drinks, where Matias managed portfolio strategies and achieved sales targets. Earlier roles include Business Manager in sales for convenience channels at Hartwall, and a Sales Manager at Inspecta. Matias possesses strong educational credentials with a Master of Science in Economics from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu and international studies at Singapore Management University.
