Emile Voest has held multiple key roles in the field of medical oncology. Emile began their career as a Professor of Medical Oncology at UMC Utrecht in 1999 and later became a Medical Oncologist at The Netherlands Cancer Institute in 2014. During their time at the institute, they also served as an Executive Medical Director and played a significant role in the development of personalized cancer treatment.

Emile Voest has been involved in various research and leadership positions throughout their career. In 2010, they co-founded the Center for Personalized Cancer Treatment (CPCT) and served as a Member of the Executive Board. Additionally, they co-founded the Hartwig Medical Foundation in 2015 and became a member of the Supervisory Board.
