Emile Voest

Emile Voest has held multiple key roles in the field of medical oncology. Emile began their career as a Professor of Medical Oncology at UMC Utrecht in 1999 and later became a Medical Oncologist at The Netherlands Cancer Institute in 2014. During their time at the institute, they also served as an Executive Medical Director and played a significant role in the development of personalized cancer treatment.

Emile Voest has been involved in various research and leadership positions throughout their career. In 2010, they co-founded the Center for Personalized Cancer Treatment (CPCT) and served as a Member of the Executive Board. Additionally, they co-founded the Hartwig Medical Foundation in 2015 and became a member of the Supervisory Board.

Emile Voest has played active roles in several organizations, including ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology). Emile served as a Member of the Executive Board and chaired the Publications Committee from 2015 to 2020. Emile has also been involved with Cancer Core Europe, Oncode Institute, and Hubrecht Organoid Technology.

Emile'smost recent endeavors include founding Mosaic Therapeutics in 2021, where they serve as the Chief Medical Officer. Emile also joined Sanofi in 2022 as an Independent Non-Executive Board Member.

Emile Voest completed their education at Utrecht University, where they obtained a PhD in Medicine in 1993 and a degree in Medicine from the Utrecht University School of Medicine in 1985. Emile also pursued their studies in Chemistry at Utrecht University starting from 1978.
