Carin-Isabel Knoop serves as the Executive Director of the Global Research Group at Harvard Business School since 1995, overseeing a 19-member team that supports faculty research and has contributed to over 2,300 case studies in more than 80 countries. Prior to this role, Carin-Isabel Knoop worked as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company, where involvement in a turnaround project for a German sports car manufacturer included developing a customer satisfaction tracking system. Earlier experience includes consultancy with PwC as part of the Central Europe Task Force, providing restructuring and privatization services across various sectors in Bulgaria, Romania, and Slovakia. Carin-Isabel Knoop holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in Government Economics and International Relations from The University of Texas at Austin.
