Wally Omar currently serves as the Director of Structural Heart Interventions at Northwell Health since September 2022 and is a Faculty Member at the Baim Institute for Clinical Research from August 2020. Previously, Wally Omar held several positions at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, including Structural Heart Fellow, CHIP/CTO Fellow, and Interventional Fellow from July 2020 to April 2024. Concurrently, Wally Omar was a Clinical Instructor and Clinical Fellow at Harvard Medical School during the same period. Prior to these roles, Wally Omar completed a Cardiology Fellowship and served as a Resident Physician at UT Southwestern Medical Center from June 2014 to June 2020. Wally Omar holds a Clinical Fellow degree from Harvard Medical School (July 2020 - June 2022) and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine (2010 - 2014), along with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from New York University (2006 - 2010).
