Mia Tavares is a dedicated student at Harvard University, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Applied Math Economics and Chemistry, expected to graduate in May 2027. Currently serving as a Voting Member of the Board for the Harvard College Honor Council, Mia plays a critical role in adjudicating cases related to the Honor Code. As a Staff Writer for the Harvard Undergraduate Law Review, Mia analyzes current legal issues, while also contributing to the Harvard Independent's editorial board and video director roles, achieving significant readership and viewership. Additionally, Mia co-founded Alivio, focused on developing assistive technologies for children with asthma, and interned with the Superior Court of California to assist litigants. Mia's past experiences include a summer analyst position in investment banking and contributions to research at Stanford University's School of Medicine. Active participation in the San Mateo County restorative justice program further highlights Mia’s commitment to community engagement and social impact.
