Karen Gilbert

Karen Gilbert, PhD, serves as a Senior Research Analyst at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute since July 2023, following a tenure at the University of Rochester where Karen conducted extensive research as a Graduate Student Researcher and held teaching roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Adjunct Instructor from August 2018 to June 2023. Additional experience includes positions as a Program Assistant at The Learning Center and a Summer Research Associate at the Institute for Defense Analyses. Karen's academic journey includes earning a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University, along with various roles in research, data acquisition, teaching, and program assistance.
