Ellie Powell

Ellie Powell is an undergraduate student at Harvard University, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English, with an expected graduation date in 2025. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Professor Nicholas Watson, Ellie contributes to multiple research projects within the Harvard Department of English. Additionally, Ellie has been a Staff Writer for The Harvard Crimson since September 2021, covering diverse topics related to the arts. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Counselor with the Phillips Brooks House Association, focusing on educational support for underprivileged youth, as well as internships in communications and research within political campaigns. Ellie also has a background in photography, having volunteered with Girls on the Run of Central Virginia and the League of Women Voters, documenting events and supporting community engagement initiatives.
