Joaquin Romero

Joaquin Romero is currently serving as the Associate Director of Development for Major Gifts at Harvard University since November 2023. Prior experience includes positions at the Rhode Island School of Design, where Joaquin has worked as a RISD Fund Officer and Senior RISD Fund Officer since June 2021, and at Brown University, where roles included Program Manager and Program Coordinator from March 2018 to May 2021. Joaquin also has experience in higher education administration from Providence College, holding positions such as Graduate Hall Director and Friar Foundations Program Hall Director from August 2015 to May 2017. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Teacher's Assistant at Blackstone Academy Charter School Inc. from June 2012 to August 2015 and various resident assistant roles at Providence College. Joaquin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Providence College, obtained in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from the same institution, completed in 2015.
