Lorenzo Planas

Lorenzo Planas has a wide range of work experience spanning over multiple industries. Lorenzo began their career in 1999 as a Systems and Network Engineer at PSINet. Lorenzo then moved on to Sage, where they served as a Project Leader in Information Security. In 2000, they joined T-Online as a Systems Architect.

In 2001, Lorenzo became the CTO of Strelitzia be (now Wairbut). Lorenzo then joined eEye Digital Security as a Sales Engineer in 2002. In 2004, they worked as the Manager of Information Security and IT Governance at Ricoh España, specifically at Aventia before its acquisition by Ricoh.

From 2011 to 2013, Lorenzo co-founded and served as the CTO of Belinkr. In 2007, they founded qindio and held the role of Founder.

Lorenzo's most recent work experience is with Harvest. Lorenzo began as a Software Engineer in 2014 and progressed through various roles, including Senior Software Engineer and Staff Engineer in Product Engineering.

Lorenzo Planas has pursued various educational opportunities throughout their career. In 2002, they obtained a Diploma in Computing from The Open University. They later attended New Horizons in 2008 and earned a degree in ITIL Service Management, focusing on Service Management. From 2003 to 2023, Lorenzo pursued a degree in CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) from (ISC)2, a leading organization in the field. Additionally, they pursued two degrees, CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) and CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), from ISACA from 2008 to 2023. Their field of study for these degrees is not specified.
