Mechanical Design Engineer at Harvest Croo

Erik Schroeder has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. In 2011, they were an Intern at TSM Corporation, where they assisted with preparing digital forensics and computer security courses and troubleshot digital forensic triage and full-physical extraction/examination software and hardware kits. In 2012, they were a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op at AAR CORP., where they prepared molds of composite aircraft parts and organized the weight reduction of composite aircraft parts. In 2013, they were a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op at Bauer Foundation Corp., where they designed a mobile concrete slurry plant that followed drill rigs on Lake Okeechobee to increase production efficiency, rebuilt and repaired small gas engines, and designed components using SolidWorks for use on drill rigs and other machines. In 2015, they were an Intern at Southern Manufacturing Technologies, Inc., where they inspected in process and completed parts and conducted tool set up for CNC mills and lathes. In 2016, they were a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at CONMED Corporation, where they assisted with troubleshooting components to streamline their processes, designed new components to better assist in the manufacturing process, and designed a new anode to decrease part contamination during electro polishing. Finally, in 2017, they were a Mechanical Engineer I at Harvest CROO Robotics.

Erik Schroeder attended East Lake High School from 2008 to 2011, graduating with a high school diploma. Erik then went on to attend Kettering University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2016. In October 2014, they became an ASME Member.
