Amy Pinger, CVA, currently serves as the Community Engagement Manager at Harvesters--The Community Food Network, where efforts focus on promoting equitable access to nutritious food across a 26-county region. Prior to this role, Amy was the Council Director for Girls on the Run Northeast Kansas, guiding programs that empower young girls through life skills and running challenges. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Store Manager at maurices, where responsibilities revolved around team leadership and operational effectiveness. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Kansas.

Harvesters is a regional food bank serving a 26-county area of northeastern Kansas and northwestern Missouri. Our mission is to mobilize the power of our community to create equitable access to nutritious food and address the root causes of hunger. Our network provides food and household products to more than 760 nonprofit agencies including food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others.
