Claire Vlases

Claire Vlases is currently serving as the Clinic Team Lead at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, focusing on the development of an automated interface for cancer detection. Claire concurrently works as a Computer Science Grutor at Harvey Mudd College, assisting with a course on computational project skills. Previous experience includes roles as a Cybersecurity Automation Engineer and AI Evaluation Intern with the State of Montana, and as a Math/Data Science Research Assistant at Claremont McKenna College, where research involved computational redistricting. Claire's extensive background also includes positions as a ski instructor, a research intern at guppy.ai, and analyst work with the CMC Student Investment Fund. Educational achievements include Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Ethics from Claremont McKenna College and Harvey Mudd College, as well as study at the University of Canterbury.
