Iain Thomson

Iain Thomson is the Head of Communications & Investor Relations at Harworth Group. Iain has over 20 years' experience in Communications, Investor Relations and Public Affairs, working across a range of sectors including property, regeneration, infrastructure, energy and manufacturing.

Previous roles include Head of Communications & Stakeholder Management at AFC Energy plc, and Head of Communications and Investor Relations at Harworth Group. During their time at AFC Energy, Iain was responsible for the company's Communications & Investor Relations programme, as well as working with key central and regional government bodies across the UK to secure funding opportunities. At Harworth Group, Iain was responsible for the communications, investor relations and public affairs work, including the production of the annual report & financial statements and the management of brokers and advisors. Iain also secured public funding for site infrastructure works and commercial development, and represented the company in national public policy matters.

Iain has been instrumental in delivering shareholder value, double digit Net Asset Value growth and high-quality lobbying success with Government. Iain is a passionate advocate for regeneration and sustainable development, and is committed to delivering great new places where people want to live and work.

Iain Thomson has a PDLGM from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School and a BA (Hons) in Iain'story & Politics from The University of Sheffield.
