David Blackett is a seasoned professional in social media and creative strategy, currently serving as Senior Manager, Global Social Media at Hasbro since October 2024. Previously, David worked as Creative Strategy Director at WMA from November 2022 to October 2024, where collaboration with prominent entertainment brands such as Prime Video and Live Nation led to significant advancements, including the transformation of Prime Video’s Twitch content into Europe's largest branded channel. David's earlier roles include Senior Strategist at ENGINE UK, focusing on enhancing FMCG brands' online presence, and Editorial Lead, developing tailored content strategies. Before these positions, David operated as a freelance features writer and served as a Social Media Strategist at WCRS, where community management for mascot-led brands showcased versatility and creativity. David is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy at Birkbeck, University of London.
