Cindy Sun

Cindy Sun is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in corporate tax management, currently serving as the Director of Global Corporate Tax at HashiCorp since December 2019, where Cindy leads international and domestic tax planning, compliance, and transfer pricing, and successfully facilitated the IPO process for tax-related filings. Prior roles include Sr. Tax Manager at Canadian Solar Inc., managing the tax departments for two offices, and Tax Manager at Guidewire Software, focusing on worldwide provision preparation and U.S. compliance. Previous positions also include International Tax Provision Manager at Oracle and International Tax Manager at Grant Thornton LLP, where Cindy developed a strong foundation in international tax provisions and planning. Cindy holds a Master of Taxation from Golden Gate University and an MBA in Accounting from San Francisco State University.
