Derek Bowman

Derek Bowman currently serves as the SOX and Internal Control Manager at HashiCorp since July 2020, previously holding the position of Senior System Analyst. Prior experience includes a tenure at IGT, a subsidiary of International Game Technology PLC, from May 2012 to July 2020, where Derek held multiple roles including Senior Internal Information Technology Auditor and IT Internal Auditor. An earlier position at Delta Dental of Rhode Island involved internal audit responsibilities from August 2009 to January 2012. Additional experience includes work in the Assurance Department at LGC&D from June 2006 to July 2009 and as a Senior Auditor at BDO Seidman, LLP from June 2005 to June 2006. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Engineering in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Johnson & Wales University obtained between 2017 and 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics from Bridgewater State University completed between 1997 and 2000.
