Hattie Lockwood

Hattie Lockwood has a robust work experience in the field of buying and supply chain management. Hattie currently works as a Team Lead Buying at Hashtag You, where they oversee the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, components, packaging, and finished products for multiple brands. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Supply Chain Manager at the same company.

Before joining Hashtag You, Hattie worked at Zalando SE for several years. Hattie held the position of Lead Buyer - Category Management, where they led a team and managed 70+ brands in the womenswear Petite & Tall category. Hattie also worked as a Buyer - Private Label, where they were responsible for buying and managing the young fashion womenswear category and progressed from an entry-level position to a manager role in less than four years. Hattie started their career at Zalando as a Junior Buyer - Private Label and served as an Assistant Buyer - Private Label.

Earlier in their career, Hattie worked at Adamley, a luxury fashion mill. Hattie was initially employed as a Quality Control Inspector and later promoted to Purchasing Office Manager. In this role, they planned, forecasted, and purchased raw materials for all production lines, while also advising clients on manufacturing processes and order expectations. Hattie also played a key role in implementing bespoke PLM software to improve order efficiency.

Hattie Lockwood completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design from Leeds Arts University, which they attended from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they had also obtained a Foundation Degree in Art & Design with a Textiles Pathway from the same university, for the duration of 2007 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Hattie also holds several certifications. Hattie obtained the Agile Fundamentals certification from Udemy in December 2020, and the Deutsch B2 certification from telc GmbH - The European Language Certificates in November 2020. Furthermore, they obtained the Deutsch für Zuwanderer A1, A2, B1 certification from telc GmbH - The European Language Certificates in May 2015.
