Missy Lewis has a diverse work experience. Missy started at Hendrick Medical Center in 2014 as a Nurse Recruitment and Retention Officer and continued in this role until 2024. In 2017, they pursued their passion for writing and became a Writer, Speaker, and Encourager at their own platform called "Missy Lewis - Enough Already!". Concurrently, in 2021, they joined Haskell Memorial Hospital as the Director of Marketing and Community Connection. Missy also took on the role of Nurse Educator at Haskell Memorial Hospital. Additionally, they worked as an RN at Hendrick Medical Center until 2024.

Missy Lewis obtained an Associate's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Vernon College, which they attended from 2002 to 2005. Missy then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in the same field from Grand Canyon University, completing it from 2012 to 2014.
