Nikolay Popov

Nikolay Popov is a seasoned Product Design Engineer currently with Haskris since 2025, having previously held the position of Principal Engineer at Hansen Technologies Corporation from 2023 to 2024. Nikolay founded and served as a consultant for CORTEQ Innovations, LLC between 2018 and 2023, and held the role of Director of Innovation at Intellihot Inc. from 2021 to 2022. Prior experience includes serving as the Principal Engineer - Refrigeration Subject Matter Expert at Elkay Manufacturing in 2016-2017, and various engineering roles at Cornelius Inc. from 2002 to 2016, including Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, and Senior Design Engineer. Beginning a career as a Product Engineer at Invensys Controls from 1998 to 2002, Nikolay holds multiple degrees, including an MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia, and a Master of Energy Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago.
