Peninnah Gathoni

Peninnah Gathoni is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and brand management. Currently serving as the Group Brand and Communications Manager at Hass Petroleum Group since March 2018, Peninnah previously held leadership roles in PR and events at Transcend Media Group and Shekele Communications. Peninnah's career includes positions as PR Account Manager at Silver Bullet Public Relations and The Advertising Company, along with experience at Brett Communications Ltd. and as a corporate communications intern at the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction. Peninnah began their career in journalism at The New Times Rwanda. Academically, Peninnah is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Communication and Information Studies at the University of Nairobi and holds a Master's degree focused on Building Brands and Influencing Behaviour from the University of Amsterdam, along with an MBA in International Business and a BA in Communications, both from the University of Nairobi.
