Jan Christel

Jan Christel is a highly experienced BIM Manager currently working at Hassell since August 2024, with a previous tenure as Senior Associate at Architecture BVN from October 2011 to August 2024. Throughout this time, Jan has focused on BIM management for health and residential projects, including the establishment of Revit documentation standards, creation of BIM management plans, and the development of health Revit family libraries. Jan has played a pivotal role in automating Revit processes through contributions to open source python libraries and the development of custom pyRevit add-ons. Prior experience includes leading Revit implementations and project documentation at GHD Woodhead and GHD, as well as architectural roles at Bates Smart and KKM Architects. Jan holds a Diplom Ingenieur Architektur degree from Fachhochschule Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen, obtained from 1996 to 2002.
