Liz Westgarth

Liz Westgarth serves as the Managing Director and Board Director at Hassell, leading the design team since April 2013. In addition to this role, Westgarth is a Principal and Registered NSW Architect, overseeing the Sydney Studio Architecture Practice. Since December 2020, Westgarth has contributed to the NSW State Design Review Panel and has been involved with the Property Council of Australia’s NSW Commercial Office Committee since January 2021. Previous experience includes roles at Foster + Partners as an Associate and various architectural design positions at other firms. Westgarth holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Sydney and has actively participated in the Australian Institute of Architects as a Gender Equity Taskforce Member and NSW Chapter Councillor from February 2018 to December 2020.
