John Boehms has a diverse work experience in the architecture and design industry. John started their career as an Intern Architect at ROSS/FOWLER, PC in 1993. John then worked at Perkins+Will as an Associate Project Manager and later as a Senior Associate Project Manager, focusing primarily on Science and Technology projects. During their time at Perkins+Will, they led teams and contributed to initiatives such as Excellence in Execution and Excellence in Design Applications.

In 2007, John joined Autodesk, Inc. as a Technical Specialist and later as a Technical Account Manager, where they played a key role in driving revenue opportunities and promoting the use of BIM platforms within targeted accounts. John also led sustainability-related campaigns and authored and presented seminars for the American Institute of Architects.

John's passion for sustainability led him to become a Member of The American Institute of Architects and join the Sustainable Development Forum at NAIOP. John also worked as the Director of Operations at HASTINGS, further expanding their expertise in operations management.

Throughout their career, John Boehms has demonstrated a strong focus on sustainability, technical expertise in BIM platforms, and leadership in project management for Science and Technology projects.

John Boehms, NCARB, LEED AP attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (BARCH) degree, specializing in Architecture. John also holds additional certifications from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), which they obtained in 2004.
