Kate O'Neil Aia, Ncidq

Kate O'Neil, AIA, NCIDQ, is a seasoned architectural professional with a robust background in design, education, and preservation. As Co-Founder and Director of Development for Nashville Design Week since October 2017, Kate plays a pivotal role in promoting design excellence. Currently serving as a Senior Associate and Architectural Designer at HASTINGS, Kate is well-versed in architectural practices. Previous experience includes a regional preservation internship focused on pre-1865 survey research, and academic roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee. Kate holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from The University of Georgia, complemented by international studies in Italy. Various presentations at notable conferences showcase Kate's contributions to high-performance building envelopes and innovative design projects.
