Margaux Mora

Senior Associate, Global Sensory at Ingredion

Margaux Mora, PhD, currently holds the position of Associate in Texture Solutions and Taste Modulation within Global Applications at Ingredion Incorporated, beginning in February 2023. Prior to this role, Margaux served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University from August 2019 to May 2023, focusing on the sensory properties of natural sugar alternatives and leading consumer tests while mentoring fellow students. Margaux's experience extends to leadership roles, including President and Co-Founder of Big Red Brewing, which fosters education in brewing practices, and Industry Liaison for The Spirits Society at Cornell. Earlier experience includes an internship at Ingredion in Flavor Applications and significant research at the National Institutes of Health regarding aging and dietary impacts. Margaux earned a PhD in Food Science and Technology from Cornell University in 2023 and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College of FAU in 2017.
