Alexandra Simmons

Alexandra Simmons is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Motor Portfolio Manager at Hastings Direct since September 2024. Prior roles include managerial positions at Vanarama, where Alexandra held titles of Insurance Product Development & Insights Manager and Insurance Analytics Manager from March 2018 to July 2024. Previously, Alexandra worked at Direct Line Group from September 2010 to February 2018 as Head of Home Renewals Pricing and Head of Privilege Motor Pricing & Underwriting. Alexandra's career also features a role as Underwriting Manager at RBS Insurance and senior underwriting positions at MMA Insurance and Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. Alexandra holds a BA with honors in Business Economics from Nottingham Trent University, completed in 2001, and attended Northampton High School for Girls from 1991 to 1998.
