Emily Thomas

Emily Thomas is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at Hastings Public Schools since August 2021. Prior to this role, Emily contributed to the field of education as an Assistant Speech Coach at Lincoln Public Schools from January 2017 to August 2021. Emily has also held various managerial positions in the food and beverage industry, including Shift Manager at Rock 'n' Joe Coffee and Manager at Scooter's Coffee. Additional experience includes roles at Kawasaki Rail Car as a Purchasing Coordinator, and at The Buckle, Inc. and Caribou Coffee in customer service and operational capacities. Emily holds a degree in English with a focus on Creative Writing from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, completed in 2016.
