Akshay Bhat

Akshay Bhat is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in machine learning and software engineering. Currently serving as a Developer Advocate for Machine Learning at Hasura since April 2023, Akshay also contributes as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Irvine, focusing on Venture Capital, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship courses. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at SAP Labs India, and as a Senior Software Engineer in Machine Learning at Cohesity. Akshay founded KisaanHeet, an agri-tech startup aimed at enhancing digital farming through advanced technologies, and served as a Seed Investor at Cortex Hospital. Early career highlights include co-founding RunnerBee, a personal concierge platform, and gaining relevant experience through internships at TETCOS and the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore. Akshay holds a Master's degree in Informatics from Universität des Saarlandes and is pursuing an MS in Business Analytics at the University of California, Irvine, after earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
