Calista Wu is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in entertainment and law. As the Founder of Cali Star Entertainment, LLC since 2020, Wu has also served as General Counsel for Hate Is A Virus since 2021. In addition to a successful music career as a recording artist, singer-songwriter, and voice actor since 2008, Wu holds a position on the Board of Directors for Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California. Prior legal experience includes roles as Senior Associate in the Corporate and Tax Section at Rutan & Tucker, LLP, and Associate in the Corporate Department at Paul Hastings LLP. Legal training includes a judicial clerkship at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and externships at the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Calista Wu earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Doctor of Law, magna cum laude, from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
