Mike Oara

Mike Oara has over 30 years of work experience in the IT industry. Mike has held several leadership roles, including CTO at Hatha Systems, where they focused on the development of modernization solutions and optimization of batch processes. As President and CEO of System Renewal, they advised large IT shops on legacy modernization.

One of their notable achievements was as CTO at Relativity Technologies Inc., where they developed the company's flagship product, Modernization Workbench, and helped establish it as a leader in application modernization. Mike also set up and managed development labs in the United States and Russia.

In their earlier roles, Mike developed innovative tools and components, such as the Function Points Analyzer at Seer Technologies and the mainframe-based 3D spreadsheet at Software AG. Mike also worked on major system conversions and developed a budget system with a complex charge-back facility at Morgan Stanley.

Mike Oara attended Liceul HCC from 1970 to 1974. Mike then pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Bucharest, completing their studies from 1975 to 1979.
