Dr. Perez joined Hathaway-Sycamores in 2016. She is responsible for the oversight of the agencies Clinical Practice, Strategic Planning, New Business Opportunities, New Initiatives, Quality Management, Compliance, Health Information Management, and Training, Research and Development. Dr. Perez brings over 22 years of professional experience to her work at the agency, most recently serving as Chief Program Officer at Five Acres, providing leadership in six program divisions including: Residential Treatment, Community-Based Services, Therapeutic Family Services, Permanency Programs, and the Therapeutic School. Prior to her work at Five Acres, Dr. Perez served as Corporate Director at Pacific Clinics where she oversaw quality service delivery for multiple programs and agency initiatives to include Prevention and Early Intervention, Birth to Five, Transition Age Youth, CalWORKs, and Volunteer Services throughout five county service areas. Dr. Perez has served as Co-Chair of the L.A. County Department of Mental Health SPA 3 Advisory Committee for ten years and as County-Wide Delegate for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health for two years. She began her career at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, serving as Director of Community Outreach Programs, and is an Early Childhood Development Specialist.
