Myla Lai-Goldman is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and diagnostics sectors, currently serving as Co-Founder and Chair of GeneCentric Therapeutics, Inc. since July 2021. Lai-Goldman has been a Venture Partner at Hatteras Venture Partners since August 2011 and the Managing Partner at Personalized Science, LLC since January 2009. Prior experience includes Executive Chair of GeneCentric Therapeutics from January 2019 to July 2021 and Chief Executive Officer of GeneCentric Diagnostics, Inc. from June 2011 to December 2018. Lai-Goldman previously held the position of Executive VP, CMO & CSO at LabCorp from 1990 to 2008. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (1979-1983) and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a concentration in Ecology from the University of Pennsylvania (1975-1979).
