Marie uses her past experiences working with world famous brands and top firms in Europe and China to add value to cross-border trademark enforcement, prosecution and strategy matters for clients spanning the globe.
Marie is foreign legal counsel in the New York office of Haug Partners LLP, where her practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional proceedings in the areas of trademark, unfair competition, copyright and design. From her strong international background, Marie has gained a unique understanding in assessing risks and developing effective strategies to provide practical solutions to help clients protect their intellectual property rights.
Marie has significant experience navigating through high-value counterfeiting proceedings in complex regions spanning a wide variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, food products, luxury goods, fashion, wines and spirits.
Marie received her Master’s degree in Intellectual Property and New Technologies from Aix-Marseille University. Recently, Marie obtained her Master of Law (LLM) degree from Fordham University School of Law, focusing her studies on Intellectual Property and Fashion Law.
Prior to joining the firm, Marie worked for global law firms in Europe and China. As well as in-house counsel at the world luxury conglomerate, Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH).
