Philip Erickson is a Principal Economist at Haus since September 2023, focusing on developing science for a causal inference SAAS. Previously, Philip served as a Senior Economist at Amazon from June 2016 to September 2023, leading multi-team efforts to create models and systems for demand and pricing decisions in consumer electronics, while generating significant value through innovative solutions. Philip also worked as an Economist at Amazon, contributing to scalable economic solutions for technology investments and demand planning. In addition, Philip was an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, teaching data science for economic applications, and completed a PhD in Economics at the University of Iowa, where also obtained a Master of Arts in Economics. Philip earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brigham Young University.
